It has not mattered to the Cannon County Lionettes that they finished fifth in the final regular season District 8-AA standings. The postseason is, for all practical purposes, a brand new season, and the Lionettes have made the absolute most of the second season, thus far.
Starting March 2, DTC TV is putting a new twist on an old, familiar game. And the good news is, you can play without even leaving your home! Blackout Bingo is coming to DTC3 beginning Monday, March 2, airing each Monday and Tuesday night at 6:30 and 10:30 p.m., through the end of May. Each week, a total of 60 numbers will be called, and if you “black out” your Bingo card, you win!

The basketball season came to a close for the Gordonsville Tigers and Tigerettes this week in the quarterfinal round of the Region 4-A Tournament. The Tigerettes, seeded third out of District 8-A, bowed out against Pickett County, the number two seed out of District 7-A. Tristen McLellan scored 20 points, as the Lady Bobcats (21-8) rolled to a 75-44 win and advanced to meet Watertown in the Region Semifinals at Watertown High School. Ashley Griese scored season-high 20 points to pace the Tigerettes (7-25).
Threw new music shows will hit the airwaves of DTC3, beginning the week of February 23. Country Fix, Bluegrass Ridge and Southern Glory will be added to the lineup, offering variety to those with various musical tastes.
Country Fix is a weekly half hour program hosted by the Country music artists themselves. Country Fix features music videos and from Country’s biggest superstars like Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, The Band Perry and Jason Aldean, as well as up and coming artists and legendary Country music greats such as George Strait and Willie Nelson!
